Common Questions

Flooring & Tile FAQ

What types of flooring do you install?

We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, ceramic tile, and porcelain tile. We can also help you choose the right material for your space, traffic level, and budget during the estimate.

Do I need to purchase the flooring myself?

Either works. Many customers prefer to source their own flooring so they can choose exactly what they want — we'll install whatever you've purchased. Alternatively, we can recommend suppliers and help you find quality materials at fair prices.

How long does flooring installation take?

A single room typically takes 1 day. Larger installs covering multiple rooms may take 2–3 days depending on the material and subfloor condition. Tile work takes longer due to setting and grouting time. We'll give you a specific timeline during your estimate.

Can you install new flooring over existing flooring?

In some cases, yes — particularly with LVP and laminate over existing hard floors. However, we always inspect the subfloor first. If existing flooring is uneven, damaged, or too thick, removal is recommended before the new install for the best long-term result.
